Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow
What do you do when you're stuck,
Because the one that you love,
Has pushed you away,
And you can't deal with the pain,
And now you're trying to fix me,
Mend what he did,
I'll find the piece that i'm missing,
But I still miss him,
I miss him, i'm missing him,
Oh I miss him, I miss him i'm missng him
And you're sitting in the front row,
Wana be first in line,
Sitting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love has still hit me,
Like a broken arrow.
Like a broken arrow.
He's the thorn in my flesh
That I can't take out
He's stealing my breath
When you're around,
And now you're trying to convince me,
He wasn't worth it,
But you can't complete me,
It's the thought that he's missing,
I miss him, I'm missing him,
Oh I miss him I miss him, i'm missing him,
And you're standing in the front row,
Wana be first in line,
Sitting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love has still hit me,
Live a broken arrow,
Like a broken arrow.
What do you do
When your hearts in two places?
You feel great but you're torn inside.
You feel love but you just can't embrace it,
When you found the right one at the wrong time.
And you're
Standing in the front row,
Wanna be first in line,
Sitting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love still hit me,
Like a broken arrow.
Like a broken arrow...
Atlanta
I like Atlanta because of different reasons. The first reason is certainly for the place. Atlanta is a big city that has a lot of beautiful places to visit. My favorite place is Piedmont Park. I live near it, so I go there every weekend when the weather is nice. The park is wide. There are soccer fields and tennis courts, and there is a space for barbecue. There also is a small lake. When I go there, I relax on the grass or play by Frisbee with my friend. There are other places that I like. For example, Atlantic Station for shopping or Virginia Highland because of restaurants and the very good ice-cream to Paolo’s. The second reason I like live in Atlanta is for the universities. Atlanta has some good universities like Emory and Georgia Tech. They are ranked among the best in the U.S. Also GSU is good. It is a public university lithe my university in Italy, but GSU is better than mine. The education is better and teachers are really interested in their students. Then I believe that here there are more opportunities to practice one’s own career. Finally, the last reason is the weather. It is strange but I like it. The weather here is always warmer than in my country also in the winner. In my country in January or in February I had to wear heavy clothiers but here I don’t. This is good for me. Therefore, for these reasons I like very much living in Atlanta although my dream place also has a big beach with palm trees.
My Favorite Place
I don't know if my favorite place really exists. It is a beautiful place in my mind. Its climate is warm in the summer. There are fabulous beaches with white and fine sand. The water has a beautiful green/blue color and the water is clear. But in the hinterland there are mountains that, in the winter, are covered with snow. In this way, you can enjoy the mountains in the winter and the sea in the summer in the same place. In the mountains there are small cottages of wood surrounded by green grass and flowers. Near the beach the houses are white with wide windows that overlook the sea. Also, in this place, the people are very kind and they do a lot of activities in the open air. They prefer to move by bicycle because it is often sunny and people like to enjoy the sun. Also, because of this there is not a lot of traffic. Finally, this place has good schools and universities, and it doesn't lack jobs. Although this place is the fruit of my imagination, I hope that it really exists, and if it does, I'll move there soon.
